As a Grading and Utility Laborer, you will play a crucial role in various construction and utility projects by assisting with tasks related to grading, excavation, and utility installation. Key Responsibilities:- Assist in grading and excavation activities, including operating heavy equipment under supervision.
- Help install and maintain utility systems such as water, sewer, and drainage pipelines.
- Perform manual labor tasks, including digging, trenching, and backfilling.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at the job site.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient project completion.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively within the team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take direction.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus.
